Spring Things

What have we been doing? Digging, planting, growing and other spring things. This year Diego is nurturing several of his own plants. His most prized is an alpine strawberry that we planted in a pot. He makes sure it gets enough water and love. Although he will tell you straight out that he does not like strawberries, he has vowed to eat one from his plant.



He has also planted some radish and beet seeds and he's very pleased with the progress the radish sprouts are making. The beets are slower and have been hampered by some animal digging. We need a scarecrow or maybe a scarecat/squirrel.




As for the rest of the garden, it's coming along nicely too.



Our refrigerator is full of eggs. Very colorful eggs. This means that there is a lot of egg eating in Ben and Sunny's future.

Attention earthworms: Run for your lives!

We took advantage of the warm weather the past two weekends to do a little clean up. Diego is very excited for spring, because that's when all the flowers go "ka-bloom!"

Worms are cool too.

Time Out

Diego put himself in time out the other day after opening the dishwasher while it was running. Some no-no's are just worth it according to him.
