10 Months in Boulder

Last week Diego paid a visit to his peeps in Colorado. He was very excited to see everyone especially Grandma, Pop, Uncle Josh, Aunt Ali and Aunt Nena. He also tested the baby-proofedness of Grandma's living room and discovered something called a Wii controller. Interesting.
Although direct sunshine involves mom coming at him with sunscreen and hats, Diego really enjoyed making the most of the warm weather by bearing his bits and swimming in a horse trough. Diego loves Uncle Josh because he's very good swimming company, but also because he has the same haircut.
Diego also helped Pop celebrate Father's Day by eating snow cones and a mango on a stick. Pop was so inspired by the mango treat, that he has become the new Mr. Mango Pop model.

All in all Diego had a great time in Boulder. To see the rest of the photo set, click here.

Baby Mobile at 9 Mos: Mom, Dad World at End, Not to Mention Cat's
Diego, like most babies, has the uncanny ability to go into a room and seek out the most dangerous item and/or situation. Really. Without fail. Now that he's mobile, all bets are off and the motorcycle keys have been vaulted along with all household knives and scissors.
He is the king of the living room and all his subjects just try to stay out of his way. He especially loves the TV armoire, the wicker blanket hamper and his "climbing wall" where he keeps his vinyl records neatly alphabetized.
Diego knows that he's going places and is very proud of himself.
Sometimes he gets his little self in some awkward situations when his feet get away from him.
Ravenna has been amazingly tolerant and tries her hardest to stay cool with a crawling, grabbing baby.
